The ‘SMALL’ PRINT
By agreeing to work with me you are agreeing to work with my terms and conditions, as laid out below…
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of design fee must be made, by bank transfer, before work begins. The remaining 50% is due on completion. I will always invoice accordingly. Any adjustments to costs will be agreed with you and made clear in the final invoice.
Cancellations
In the event that you cancel or your requirements change, I’m not able to issue a refund. Please let me know if there are exceptional or unusual circumstances.
Process
Work will begin further to a meeting, phone call or email exchange to discuss and settle on ideas. After this, I will begin the design process according to the timeline we have agreed. You take responsibility to provide accurate wording and information for me to include in your stationery; I cannot accept responsibility for spelling or grammatical errors. It is also your responsibility to provide the information required in the time frame that I request, otherwise timely delivery can’t be guaranteed.
You will receive a first digital proof of the artwork I have created on your behalf. Following the initial proof, you are entitled to 3 rounds of re-design. Any further edits will be subject to an hourly rate of £50. I will always try to make this stretch as far as possible!
By agreeing the artwork, you are taking responsibility that everything is correct and accurate.
Rush Fee
Work required ahead of my lead-time will be subject to a 25% rush fee – please discuss with me directly if you need work completed more quickly than a 6-week lead.
Printing
Please remember that digital proofs may not exactly match the final colour print; different screens can show colours differently. The colours will be true to the original artwork.
Copyright
I hold copyright for all artwork and designs. You, or any third party, are not able to re-use, copy or reproduce any designs from the proofs sent to you. If you would like to use designs for other stationery elements (e.g. reproducing a venue illustration on an order of service) you must obtain my permission. This may be subject to an image release fee.
Images
I reserve the right to photograph finished invitations for my own marketing purposes, website and social media. Contact details will be removed, and if you would rather that I didn’t share your designs, please speak to me directly.
Data Protection
All details received from you are confidential and will only be used by me. Data is kept on file for six months and then deleted. Invoices are stored for 7 years as per tax requirements.
